Bucks New University

Invited by Bucks New University to design a suite of new faculty brochures for their Faculty of Creativity & Culture, BWP responded to the challenge by considering the target audience, the role of the brochures, and the Faculty they represent. Bucks New University is known within the creative sector to be a supply chain of talent across the design sector, from furniture and jewellery to film and TV production. This presented a particular challenge to design a suite of brochures that shared common elements to ensure a family feel, while maintaining high levels of creativity to appeal and engage with the target market.

A balance was required between creativity and the need to achieve the principal commercial aims of the brochures: to drive applications in an increasingly competitive market place. The Art & Design brochure was designed, printed and delivered ahead of the September in-take, but intended to appeal to the 2009 applicants. This was followed by brochures for Music, Film & TV and Arts & Media.
