Primal PR Writes Success with Stabilo
Primal PR launches national Handwriting Campaign and new 's Move Easy pens with world-wide pen manufacturer.
The aim of the Stabilo Handwriting Campaign is to push the skill of handwriting further up the educational and public agenda with the arrival of the new, revolutionary 's Move Easy pens!
Primal have got off to a flying start by commissioning a survey on handwriting. During the summer period, these statistics will be used to gain buy-in from consumer and parenting press to support the handwriting campaign. A nationwide radio campaign will help to reach thousands of kids and parents in their own homes, highlighting the key issue for kid's of the future.
Primal will also be managing the Stabilo in-store sampling taking place across the summer holidays in over 100 Tesco stores. Partnering with kids film, The Rocker, out in August the sampling stand will attract the 8-14 year olds that are the 's Move Easy's target audience.
- Half of teachers say they don't spend enough time on handwriting in school, with 20 per cent saying they don't actually think it is important.
- Almost 28 per cent even admitted that they don't feel confident teaching children how to handwrite properly.
- Two thirds of parents are also worried that there isn't enough time devoted to it in school but a staggering 92 per cent also blame emails and text messages for the decline in writing standards.
