Premier entertainment venue, The Gate has appointed the BWP Group as their new creative agency. The Group has been tasked with creating a new campaign to help promote Propinvest's key leisure scheme located in the heart of Newcastle city centre.
The mission for the BWP Group is to present a campaign that focus's The Gate's advertising campaign to a more mature market, with a greater emphasis on a 24-hour offering. The Gate currently houses a cinema, casino, 9 bars and 8 restaurants. The agency have agreed upon an imaginative illustrative approach, defining The Gate's clientele and unique offer in a distinctive execution which will maintain their position as a key leisure destination on the Newcastle circuit.
Managing Director of in2, Richard Beasley says, "This is a fantastic opportunity for the BWP Group to expand into the leisure sector. We won the pitch due to great creative ideas from our team and resulted in the second win in a month."
The initial campaign will be launched later in July across poster sites, Metro carriages, local magazine titles and radio, and will be followed later in the year with a key Christmas campaign.
