Trio of awards for BWP Group
At the recent Property Marketing Awards ceremony, BWP Group (comprising in2 and Primal PR) beat off stiff competition to win three prestigious awards. The agency won Best Retail and Leisure campaign for its work with Elmsleigh Shopping Centre in Staines; this was closely followed by Best Corporate campaign for a leasing mailer the agency created for Dockside Outlet Centre in Chatham. Perhaps the most exciting win for the agency itself was to be awarded the accolade of Best Independent Marketing Agency for the second year running.
The awards, organised by Estates Gazette in association with The Chartered Surveyors Company, recognise innovation, creativity and the success of marketing campaigns in the commercial property industry.
Chris Webb, Chairman of BWP Group says: "We are always very pleased to be recognised amongst our peers for our achievements as an agency. These awards celebrate innovation and success and it means a great deal to be acknowledged for our creativity. The fact that we have retained our title of Best Independent Marketing Agency is particularly thrilling, we have been working hard to become a strong integrated agency and it is awards like this that prove we are moving in the right direction."
The campaign that won Best Retail and Leisure was 'Get Schools Growing', a community based campaign that encouraged local schools in Staines to enter a competition to win a vegetable garden in their school grounds. A microsite was created where parents and local residents could vote for their favourite school as well as finding out how to grow-their-own at home. With over 22,500 votes cast, the campaign met all of its objectives and proved to be a great success.
The leasing mailer that BWP Group created for Dockside had the aim of being 'memorable'. The 'take-away' concept was just that, the first mailer sent out was a hot pizza and the second, a spicy Indian. With two new brands already taking units, and five others in discussion, this was a leasing mailer that not only grabbed people's attention; it also got the right messages across and generated results.
